Racing & Dancing

I know, I know, this blog has turned into my reality TV blog! So if you're not interested in the Amazing Race and Dancing with the Stars go ahead and click the little x at the top of the screen.
First off, did you see the amazing race Sunday night? It was good! The little brothers Mike and Mark got bit in the butt by good ole Karma! If you don't believe in Karma then you definitely haven't been watching the Amazing Race. Every season we find out just how important it is to treat your fellow competitors with respect. Sunday night they were in Thailand and one of the challenges involved a cart like apparatus. One team member had to pull the cart while the other one rode in it. When they got to the carts they each had a flat tire. Tire pumps were laying out so they could air up the tire before they left on their 2 mile trek. Mike and Mark were the first to arrive and they saw the tire pumps and realized a tire was flat. They aired it up and then proceeded to put all the tire pumps in a box all jumbled up to throw off the other contestants. No other contestants realized they had flat tires. Then they paid their taxi driver to lead them to the next stop. Two no-nos! When they arrived at the pit stop they were team number 1. However, they incurred two 30 minute penalties for tampering with the tire pumps and hiring someone to help them. When they had about 5 minutes left in their hour of penalties the other teams started coming in. The first team also won a trip to Hawaii for being team number 1. Then another team came in and Mike and Mark ended up 3rd. KARMA!!!! It will be interesting to see how this set back affects their abililty to work together and make progress in the next leg of the race. The father and son team came in last and were elliminated.

Dancing with the Stars is really heating up! Ty Murray is definitely the most improved and is looking good! I guess I shouldn't say I think Steve Wozniak is going home because he probably isn't. I have a theory about that. He is a computer genius and he may have rigged the computers that tally the votes. Okay, it's just a theory. Two go home tonight. Will there be an upset? Maybe. Can't wait to find out. Last night was kind of funny when Chuck Wicks was scared to do one of the tricks because he didn't want to hit his head. You know Ty Murray and Lawrence Taylor were thinking "what a sissy, he needs to toughen up!"

Here's a reminder for all my barrel racing buddies. The $1000 added money barrel race is this weekend at Longhorn arena in Tuscumbia. They have a jackpot Friday night and a $1000 added in the open on Saturday and then $1000 added in the open again on Sunday. I will be there Saturday and Sunday trying to get my share of the pot!

Kelly came down today. Chiropractor appointment. We have had a great time just hanging out and chatting. I told her about my big plan for the blog and the website. She liked my idea and I'm sure you're going to like it too! So stay tuned for the big announcement coming soon.

My Head is Spinning...

It has been one more crazy day at the ole Shamrock! Orders coming in. Orders going out. Phone ringing. Feed customers.....You get the picture. I LOVE it! I Love being this busy. The day just flies by. Unfortunately I don't get everything done that I plan to. I have photos to post. I wanted to remind everybody to watch Dancing with the Stars tonight and vote for Ty Murray, King of the Cowboys. Now maybe tomorrow I will be somewhat caught up. I am working on something really special for the blog and the website. Be looking for the big announcement coming soon! Have a great evening. I'm going to go home and ride, cook something for supper, (Probably Hamburger Helper) watch a little TV and call it a day!

My former life as a fashion model.....

Yes, it's true.
I was actually a hair model.
Glamorous huh?
I still remember vividly the clamor of the crowd. The hustle and bustle backstage as models got ready to walk the runway. The endless chatter. My nervous mother and brother in the audience.
Those were the good ole days.
Okay, maybe it was just one day.
And I was the ripe old age of three!
But I was still a hair fashion model, and I still do remember it!
My Aunt Betty (the one in Alabama) was a hair dresser. She belonged to some sort of hair dresser association. They were putting on this fashion show for hairstyles. It was held at the Royal Avenue Recreation Center. Big, big venue! Each hair dresser drew a month (or 2, maybe) and they were suppose to come up with an idea and style to depict that month. My Aunt Betty drew January. So she decided to ring in the new year with a New Years Baby, or a 3 year old with lots of hair! They dressed me in a little red leotard complete with a white beauty pageant sash that said "New Years". I also wore white majorette boots complete with tassles made from yarn. Don't laugh, that was the height of Fashion. (I know because I am a former fashion model) I came out on the stage, walked the runway went back to center stage and sang the months of the year! Did I mention I was only 3! My brother is 3 1/2 years older than me and mother has told me she thought she was going to have to tranquilize him because he was soooo nervous. He had no faith in me. I shined! I remember at the end of the whole deal all of us fashion models came back out on stage for one last applause. It was amazing! A star was born!
Okay, maybe just a star in my own mind. But it is a wonderful memory. Do you have memories like that? If you do, visit them often & share them with others. Those experiences are what make you so special!

Now, I wanted to go for a week without mentioning American Idol. Sorry I can't. We said Goodbye to Michael Sarver, the roughneck, last night. He was really good, but then, they all are. How about Adam changing his look and taking off the nail polish for Motown week? Do you think he got wind of all the negative feedback from his rendition of "Ring of Fire"? I still say he disrespected Country Music/Grand Ole Opry week. And to top it off I think he could have done a great job with a country song. He is extremely talented! I like him. But after last week I definitely like Danny Gokey better. The other thing that ticked me off was that I wanted Ryan Seacrest to ask him about his appearance change. No time for an interview. They had wasted all their time chit chatting with "on her way to getting sloshed" Paula and "obnoxious" Simon. This show definitely needs my help on how to conduct business. If any of you Fox execs are reading this blog (and I'm sure there are many) call me. I'll be glad to get you back on the right track.....

Sweet Potatoe Casserole

Yep! Today is the day. Today is the day when I share one of my few recipes. Just like on those real blogs where they really do know how to cook! Thanks to Leah for suggesting I do the Sweet Potatoes. I hope you're ready for this......

Before you do anything get out the Clorox wipes and clean the counter really well. I use a lot of clorox wipes. I don't know if that means I'm really clean or that I'm really dirty!

Now onto the good stuff....

Sweet Potatoe Casserole

3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup butter

Add other ingredients to mashed potatoes (note: I did use canned yams, 3 of them, refer to my Feb. 25th entry, sweet taters) and mix well.

Sweet potatoes cooking

The first thing I add is the stick of butter so it can be melting in the hot potatoes. Add everything else and beat with the mixer.

Put into a greased casserole dish.

Topping

1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup butter

Mix topping and crumble on top of casserole.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

And....

Ta Da!
Here you have it Sweet Potatoe Casserole.

With our Sweet Potatoes we had Turkey and Dressing. It was a good lunch. It was a good supper Monday and Tuesday, too! Part of it was packed up and sent to Columbia with Ned and Kelly! I am going to share my cornbread and dressing photos one day too! I absolutely love cornbread and I could eat it every day! I wish y'all could have smelled my kitchen when all this good stuff was cooking! It was amazing! Here are a couple of fun shots!

Ned was the last one done! But notice we all made the "clean plate club"!

We wiped out this first pan of dressing, luckily I made plenty and had another pan in the fridge ready to bake Monday.

When all the cooking was done and we had eaten and the table cleared and the dishwasher was loaded I turned Ricardo loose and let him do his thing on the kitchen floor. I love Ricardo!!
Okay, I'm expecting all of you to try the Sweet Potatoe Casserole recipe and let me know what you think! Better yet, share it with me! Happy Cooking!

Baby Photos!

Okay, I don't have any.

I did see some on Saturday though. I must admit I'm not very good at deciphering these ultrasound images. Someone always has to point out to me what is what. However, the one of the baby's foot was obvious even to me. It was also obvious that it was a big foot. Does that mean it's a boy? Don't know. If anyone does know they ain't talking. I suppose we'll just have to guess. My buddy April says it's a girl. Dan says it's a girl. I really don't have a feeling one way or the other....yet! We also got to see a video! That was really cool. His/Her mouth was moving and might have been sucking it's thumb or toe at some point. And no the baby's sex was not obvious in the photos or the video. Ned & Kelly told the ultrasound lady they didn't want to know the sex of the baby. We may have to do a Blog Pool for the birth date and the sex of the baby. Is anybody interested in that?

Sunday was a big cooking day at my house. Ned is the one who usually cooks Sunday breakfast. We had biscuits, eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. Everybody should have a son in law as talented as mine. Just to prove I'm not making this up I have the photos to prove it!

How about Ty Murray last night on Dancing with the Stars? He is definitely gettin better every week. Did you spot Justin McBride in the audience cheering him on? I kind of wish we didn't watch it so late and we could vote. By the time we watch it the voting has already closed. I kind of feel sorry for Steve Wozniak, the computer guy, he's just not making any improvements. But he does seem to be having fun.... I think he may be gone tonight. But, if you'll remember I thought that last week too.
Now, if you live anywhere near Crofton, Ky and you like to trail ride you need to be hooking up with the trail riding group "Women on the Edge"! We just finished doing a cap order for them. Aren't these cool looking caps? Brown with a hot pink design! I love 'em. Their motto is "no whining"! And don't you just love that too?
Okay, tomorrow is the day! My cooking blog... complete with pictures. Don't miss it!

Happy Anniversary Matt & Mary!

Yesterday, the 22nd was Matt & Mary's 1st Wedding Anniversary. This year has really flown by. I've said it before but I'm going to say it again. We hit the jackpot with our daughter-in-law! She is a gem. We absolutely adore her, she adores Matt and he is crazy about her. Our only complaint is that we don't see enough of them. A visit at least once a month would be good but with everybody's crazy schedule that just doesn't happen. Mary spent the first part of the anniversary weekend in Tunica, MS at the barrel race where she did very well. She came home Saturday evening and got up Sunday morning and went to another barrel race close to their house and did great there as well. Matt sold a horse sale north of St. Louis Saturday night so finally Sunday night they got to go out and celebrate! Here are a couple of shots from their wedding. Enjoy!

We had a big weekend at our house too! Details and photos coming this week. Here's a hint, I cooked!

Vision Board

Do you have one? You should. Last year my buddy Trina let me borrow her book, "The Secret". I was definitely intriqued. I really got into it. I love that book. I've read and reread it and given it as a gift. One of the things it stresses is to create a vision board. On your vision board you post words, photos, images etc. of things you would like to have happen in your life or something you would like to aquire. You can make one for the whole family or one just for yourself. One of my photos was of a roomba vacuum cleaner. By the way.... I love Ricardo my new roomba. The power of the vision board. I also have words on my vision board. Be Happy, Health, Happiness, Smile Often. You know, that sort of thing. I have a picture of a ring that I want, a photo of a canon Xsi camera and some Hawaii photos. I took my roomba photo off this week and started thinking about what to put on now! Maybe a photo of a minivan.....Ned is not real crazy about this. He has a theory that the majority of accidents on the hiway involve minivans. I think it would be a very convenient vehicle when the baby comes. We can all fit in it to go places. I gave up on worrying about what my vehicle looks like a long time ago. I drive a '94 Blazer. My main driving route is from the house to the store and back again with an occasional stop at Big Star for groceries. However, when my grandbaby gets here I will be making many trips to Columbia, Tn if Ned & Kelly are still living there....and many trips around town if they are living here. So if you see a cool shot of a minivan email it to me. I'll print it out and put it on my vision board. Okay I just had an idea for another photo. Kelly, take a picture of your for sale sign and I'll put SOLD on it and put that on my vision board too!! So, get busy and start making your vision board and let me know how it turns out.

Hummmmm, Hummmmm, Hummmmm....

That's the constant hum of our embroidery machine. We've listened to it all day, ahhh, the sound of a busy day! We've done burp cloths, baby blankets, handbags, and now a cap order. Tomorrow is shaping up to be just as busy!

Yesterday afternoon my cousin Kathy (her folks live next door to the store) came by for a much needed visit. We chatted, gossiped a little and laughed a lot! She had her laptop with a ton and a half of photos on it! We had the best time looking at them. She is really getting into the photography thing too! She had some really cool shots. I asked her if she had visited any of the websites that I mention on here. No, she hasn't. I've made it easy to visit some of my favorite places by putting links to their websites on the left hand column of this page. If you're reading this via your email you need to click on kaymcgee at the bottom of the page and you will be directed to the actual blog page. Click on the link that looks the most interesting and start learning. One place in particular that would be helpful for Kathy because she is a world traveler is www.flickr.com You can go to flickr and do a location search. If you are going to the Grand Canyon simply do a search of the Grand Canyon. Use this as an opportunity to see what other photographers have taken photos of and decide if there are some you would like to try to duplicate. When viewing the photo look to the right hand side of the page and scroll down until you see properties. When you click here you get the exif data. This tells you what the camera settings were for this particular shot including date and time of day. Very important in recreating a shot. Happy Shooting!

I'm stilling trying to figure out what exactly went wrong for Alexis Grace on American Idol last night.... I liked her! I honestly thought she would be around a lot longer. The few girls that we started with are dropping like flies. Should we assume the majority of voters are young girls voting for the "cute" guys? If last night was any indication the next couple of weeks should be interesting! Stay tuned....

Blog Notes?

I think I need 'em! I always have all these "things" that I'm gonna blog about....until I start to blog. My mind goes blank.

I guess one of the main things on my mind today is from American Idol last night. Last night was "Grand Ole Opry" night, a tribute to country music. The guest mentor was Randy Travis. Randy Travis may be one of the most sincere, kind hearted guys in the business. Even he was speechless by Adam Lambert's rendition of "Ring of Fire". Now, don't get me wrong, I really like Adam Lambert. I am totally impressed by his talent. I just think he made a mockery of what was suppose to be "country music" night. He definitely failed to show his versatility and ability to do different genres. And oddly enough I wanted to hear him do "country"! I think he could do it even if he is totally against country as he seemed convey to us last night. A little advice to Adam....we all have to do things in this life that we don't like, suck it up and do it! Enough of my rant, now onto Danny Gokey. I thought he was terrific once again! Lil was good too! Okay they were all really pretty good, it's a good group this season, no doubt. In case your wondering which one Adam Lambert is I have included his photo!

Well, I was right about Ty Murray. He was "safe" last night on Dancing with the Stars! Belinda Carlisle was sent packing!

Dan and I actually thought it would be between the 2 Steves. Oh well what do we know?

I realized that most of the handbags I have been sneek peaking on here have a western theme and quite a few of my blog readers just aren't that into western. So today you're gonna get a sneek peak at some of the monogram ready bags. If you like 'em give me a call an email or come by and we'll fix you up with a monogrammed hand bag!

King of the Cowboys makes a comeback!

Did you watch Dancing with the Stars? If you didn't you missed Ty Murray's big comeback! He really did a lot better this week. He and partner Chelsea Hightower danced the quick step. I feel confident that he won't go home tonight. His mom & dad were in the audience, sitting right behind Jewel. (I wondered if they went early on in case he wasn't any better and got the boot!)

Today I am working on my Grandbaby's quilt. I am using the Baby Animals in Pajamas designs. They are adorable. I will do 9 quilt blocks, each with a different baby animal. Each design has taken about an hour. I started this morning and I am only on my 3rd design. I think I get side tracked a lot! However, one good thing happened when I was on one of my embroidery suppliers website I was checking my order history to check colors for one of the designs when I noticed I had some free designs that dated all the way back to Christmas! It was a gift from the company...cool huh? Okay, back to the quilt. Ned & Kelly have decided that they do not want to know the sex of the baby until its birth. So I have the baby animals wearing pink jammies and blue jammies and heaven only knows what other color jammies. Kelly is in her 19th week now. (See widget to your left) They went this morning for an ultrasound. The ultrasound lady knows the sex but we don't. They left with photos and a video. Dan and I can't wait to see 'em. I'm still thinking about what I want the baby to call me. Any suggestions?

I woke up in the middle of the night last night thinking about how I was going to make a sweet potatoe casserole for my blog. I think that might happen this weekend. I'm thinking I will check tomorrow at Big Star for a turkey breast. Doesn't that sound good? Turkey, sweet potatoes and maybe some dressing......Yummmyyyyy.

I have started working on my "photos I want to take this spring" list. So far I have quite a few ideas. Do you have a list? If not you need to start one. Then when you get some time you can make the effort to get some amazing shots. One of the main topics on my list is another trip to Rock Springs and get some spring nature shots. I have late summer and fall shots from there. Another one on my list is the old Mars Hill Church building. There is a really cool Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Tn that I would like to shoot one day. I also have an idea about an old barbed wire fence. Of course we have foals due in a month or so and that is always good for about 200 or so photos!

Finally, what would a blog from a McGee that owns a business called Shamrock Feed be without a huge

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
Hope you have a great one!

Lap Top Cases!

If handbags weren't enough now we have added Lap Top cases at the ole Shamrock! They are cool! They came in last week with a new handbag order. I carry a lap top everyday. I keep my photo editing software on the laptop along with my umpteen gillion photos. So when I need to do photographs at the store for the website or whatever I have my laptop to work with. I have tried to keep embroidery stuff and photo stuff seperate but that doesn't always happen.

Today has been a busy day as we were working on an order of breastcollars for a roping & barrel racing series in Missouri. They are finally finished, photos and all. We have also been working on a logo and cap order for "Women on the Edge" a trail riding group in Kentucky. I love their motto.... No Whining!!
I brought the scanner over to use for some digitizing and when Elder Brough came by Friday I asked him if he would set it up for me. Of course he did. Unfortunately the drivers weren't compatible with my new computer... whatever that means. Lucky for me I had Elder Brough here and I got Mike Stephens (my computer repairman) on the phone and they talked and pushed buttons and downloaded and went back and forth for a while. I don't think it works but Elder Brough did accomplish what I thought we needed the scanner for without it! Young minds...you gotta love it! I hope plane fares stay low because when Elder Brough goes back to Utah I'll probably have to fly him to Alabama for computer help!

Here are a few photos of our newest handbag and laptop additions. For more check out our website http://www.shamrockm.com/. Enjoy

Happy Anniversary!

Happy 4th anniversary to Ned & Kelly!

I guess in a lot of ways it seems like the last 4 years have gone by fast. I've often wished they were living here but at the same time I'm glad they are only 2 hours away! When they decided to get married on March 12th you wouldn't believe how many people told us that our areas' worst snow was on that date! Sheeeesh.... was I ever nervous! The weather turned out beautiful, windy but a sunny 72 degrees. Last night when Dan & I were out at the barn and it was cold and the wind was blowing straight out of the north I reminded him of what day was coming up. We both at the same time said how glad we were the weather wasn't like it is this year! Of course even if the weather had been cold and rainy we would have adapted..... I often hear people talk bad about their childrens mate but that ain't gonna happen here! We absolutely adore Ned! We thank our lucky stars for him and Kelly everday. They are a great couple! I hope on next years anniversary they are living here and Dan & I can baby sit Junior while they go out and celebrate! Now, at this point a good blogger would have one or two of their wedding photos to share. But this is me and all my wedding shots are on the computer at home. (poor planning) However you do get a photo of the happy couple, just not from their wedding day. Enjoy!

Now on to Idol.... Were you pleased with the elimination? I guess I was. I really didn't want to see Jasmine go, but I have so many favorites it's bound to happen. I knew the judges weren't going to waste their "save" on either one of them.

I was pleasantly surprised by the response from y'all wanting me to email my blog directly to your email box! Makes a blogger feel good! Thanks! If you missed that in yesterdays blog here's the deal. If you email me or comment leaving your email address I will automatically send my blog to your email address as soon as it is published each day. (or every other day, or whatever)

Pleasantly Surprised, Ricardo and my blog in your email.....

I really didn't know what to expect from American Idol last night but I was pleasantly surprised! For the most part the contestants were waaaayyy better than I thought they would be. I even have several favorites! I like Lil, Adam, Danny, Scott...really all but just a couple. I expect most of these 13 will have some sort of music career and some will take it further than even they expect. I am in no way, shape, form or fashion a singer but I love watching them. Maybe what I like is watching them pursue their dream. Watching them push themselves harder than ever to accomplish what they want out of life! They are an inspiration!

Yesterday was a big day for me. I went to Kohl's and bought an iRoomba. An iRoomba is a vacuum cleaner. I know I said I wasn't buying another vacuum cleaner until they came out with a riding model but this was a deal I couldn't pass up! Kohl's reg. price is $379 and they had him on sale for $299, I had a coupon for 30% off and that was another $90 off! I think I done good! The iRoomba is a robotic vacuum cleaner, he operates all by himself. I just have to empty him and clean his brushes and filter. I named him Ricardo. Ricardo Roomba, roll your r's when you say it and it sounds really cool! Lets just hope he doesn't have a stroke or something with my filthy floors!

Our website is really bringing in the business! Why didn't I do that years ago? Oh Yeah, because I didn't have a computer and hi-speed internet at the store. What a difference it makes. I feel like I can conduct business during business hours now and not trying to play catch up in the evenings!

Would you like my blog sent to your email when I post a new entry? If so leave a comment or email me with your email address and I will add you to the list. Every time I post a new entry it will be sent to you via email and you can read the entry and see the photos in your email. If you want to access the entire blog you can click on kaymcgee at the bottom of the email and it will direct you to the blog! Cool huh?

I'm Back.....

But my taxes still aren't done! Oh well, maybe tomorrow. I was going to work on them and run the embroidery machine at the same time. That didn't happen. I did get quite a bit done on the machine today. I had several orders come in via the website that needed my attention. So the taxes took a back seat. Now it is almost quittin' time so I'm not going to start on them now, duh!

How about Dancing With the Stars? Poor ole Ty Murray. He can't dance but I still hope he does good 'cause he's a cowboy. He definitely wasn't the worst! Too early for me to pick a fave but I will let everyone know when I do.

Our weather has been amazing. Highs around 80 for several days now. Been riding my horse every day and loving the warm weather more than him. He still has a lot of winter hair. The buttercups are still blooming and the Bradford Pear trees are starting to bloom. It really feels like spring! All that may change tomorrow when the rains come and the temperature drops. From the look of the extended forecast the rains come, stay and don't leave! Bummer! We have a barrel race this Saturday in Decaturville, Tn the last of their winter series. My buddy April is doing real good in the series and I need to be there to cheer her on!

Reality TV Junkies

It's gotten that bad. We were just looking on the Dancing with the Stars website to see what all was going on since the show starts back up Monday night. I don't know how we are going to watch all these shows. Idol, the Race, Survivor, and now Dancing. The time changes tonight, (Yipppeee!) and naturally when the time changes we stay outside a lot longer. We don't usually come in until 8 or 8:30 now. It may become a problem to get all these shows in. Since we TiVo we do fast forward through all the commercials but it still takes 40 minutes to watch a one hour show. Anywho. Here's a little update on Dancing with the stars, Jewel is out with a fractured tibia in both legs and Nancy O'dell is out with a torn meniscus. I promise this blog is not going to turn into a reality TV blog, there are plenty of them out there!

We couldn't be happier about our new addition of handbags. So far they are a BIG hit! Great item plus great price equals great sales! Check 'em out at www.shamrockm.com/handbags

Dan made my barrel horse Levi a new halter, I love it and I wanted to share it with y'all. I know you'll agree, Dan is amazing when it comes to leather work. I just realized I should take a few shots of Levi wearing his new halter. I'll put that on my to do list. Enjoy!

Its Driving me CRAZY!

American Idol, that is. As you know we TiVo everything. Last night those crazy folks at Fox TV let the show go past 8pm. Well, my recording quit at 8pm. BUMMER. At least I did get to see them tell Tatianna she wasn't going through. The 3 that I thought would make it through based on the judges reactions were Jasmine, Anoop and Megan. Jasmine was the first to get the good news. Then they had Megan & Tatianna up there together. Thank goodness they said Megan was through and Tatianna was done! It didn't stop her from begging and crying and all that......They cut to a commercial and said they would announce the 3rd choice when they got back. So far I was 2 for 2. I was on a roll. I was telling Dan about how smart I was when the tv froze and the prompt came up to keep or delete this show! By now it's after 9:30 there ain't no backing it up. There's nothing to do but check the website this morning. I log onto their site and I'm greeted with "Meet Our Top 13". Apparently they put Anoop and Matt both through. Interesting. This show just keeps messing with me.

Two weeks ago Kelly and I went to the barrel race. My buddies April and Stephanie were there too. It turned cold and windy. Luckily the facility had plenty of room for us to wait for our run inside. Before we left the temperature was steadily dropping and it was raining straight down. We had a good time though. Here are a couple of our pictures from the barrel race. We're going to a barrel race tomorrow. The weather should be great. Hallelujah!

Spring Forward

Make a note, my favorite holiday is this weekend. Daylight Savings Time begins. So you need to set your clocks forward one hour Saturday night before you go to bed. I always go through the house on Sunday morning and change mine but you should do it Saturday night. Last night when it was 6pm and still light outside I told Dan, "this time next week it will 7pm and still light outside." Hallelujah! Now, I do realize that 6am will come mighty early, but that's the price I'm willing to pay.

Did you watch last night? American Idol that is. I was glad Lil made it through. I wasn't to sure about the wild card thing. I was pretty upset that they brought Tatianna back. Did you notice she immediately became "whiney chick" again. I can't take much of that. I hope America doesn't vote to keep her in the top 12. There are too many talented singers that don't whine/giggle constantly for us to have to put up with her. Enough said.

Our handbags are selling like hot cakes! If you missed the blog with photos you can scroll down and see it or you can go to http://www.shamrockm.com/ and go to the handbag page. They're cool. You'll like 'em. If you live in the Florence area I might just deliver. I have been known to do that. Here are a couple of handbags that weren't featured last time.
